(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - Former LSU Football Coach Ed Orgeron has announced that he is tired of being on the sideline.

While in attendance at a ceremony where a football field was named after one of his football players at LSU, Patrick Queen, the Coach, was interviewed by Jacques Doucet with WAFB Sports, and the National Championship Winning Coach had plenty to say.

However, it's what Coach O said about his future that has the internet buzzing today.

Ed Orgeron admitted to Doucet that he is ready to coach again, as he has "Left a little bit on the bone." Coach O, known for his high energy and exceptional recruiting skills, appears ready to take on the correct position, even if that means an assistant role.

Here's the former LSU coach admitting he's ready to get back in the game. The question now is who will hire Coach Ed Orgeron next football season, and could a school in Louisiana be reaching out to him?

If you forgot how intense Coach O is, here's a quick reminder. Just a few days ago, Coach O led the chant at the Ryder Cup, getting many in attendance to start the "USA, USA" chant. Who wouldn't want this man in their locker room for the 2026 football season?

Then,of course, there was the time when Coach O took his shirt off at a former staff member's wedding reception, which reminds us that he's still got it when it comes to intensity.
