Some terrible news, an employee for FedEx has died after he fell out of a moving truck.

20-year-old Noah Fletcher died after he fell out of the truck on an interstate in Peper Pike, Ohio.

According to police, Fletcher, who was the passenger in the cargo truck, got out of his seat to close a door that opened on the truck and that is when he fell onto the interstate.

The Pepper Pike Fire Department responded to the accident and administered aid to the FedEx employee, but sadly he passed away on the scene.

Police say that they have reviewed video from inside the truck and you can see Fletcher get out of his seat and move towards the open door, where he ultimately fell.

The accident happened on July 14.

FedEx did release this statement to 19 News:

"We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends mourning the loss of our team member, Noah Fletcher. Safety is our highest priority, and we have fully cooperated with the investigating authorities."
