The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is enlisting the public's help to be on the lookout for a young man who was last seen in July.

According to the press release by department spokeswoman Valeri Ponseti, 16-year-old Junior Edwardo Rios of Carencro could be in the Scott area.

The young man is listed by the department as an endangered runaway who was last seen on July 26.

At that time, Rios was wearing a red ball cap along with a red and black sweatshirt. The press release further describes Rios as having brown hair and eyes. The day he was last seen, Rios was also wearing a pair of dark pants and a shirt.
