Eat Lafayette 2019: Uncle T’s Oyster Bar [VIDEO]
Anthony Hebert, owner of Uncle T's Oyster Bar in Scott took us on a tour of some his offerings for Eat Lafayette 2019.
Uncle T's Oyster Bar is more than just oysters - this full-fledged seafood restaurant features delicious seafood baskets, boiled seafood, po-boys, salads, wraps, great appetizers and, as you'll see in the video, something sweet to top off your meal!
We started with the Holly Beach Slammer, their grilled oyster sampler platter. SO GOOD!
The Zydeco Chicken appetizer was amazing - their Zydeco Sauce has the perfect blend of sweet/spicy! (I'm thinking about trying to talk Anthony into making the Zydeco Chicken Po-Boy, what'cha think?).
Then I tried to get my mouth around the Landry Po-Boy (believe me, it was a task!). Shrimp, oysters, crawfish, lettuce, tomatoes, Landry sauce, topped with sauteed lump crab meat - this thing will rock your socks!
To top it all off, Momma Nat's Donut Bread Pudding! Nuff said!
