Dustin Sonnier Talks Inspiration, Influences, and New Album

Lafayette native Dustin Sonnier is a modern day Highwayman. An accomplished singer, songwriter, and guitar player, Dustin has graced just about every stage in south Louisiana. His style leans heavily on the honky-tonk inspired outlaw country of old. His influences range from country legends like Hank Williams Jr, Merle Haggard, and Keith Whitley to more contemporary artists like Elton John.

To date, Dustin has released one album and is currently working on another.

Dustin joined us for Showroom Sessions at Courtesy Buick GMC in Lafayette to tell some stories and play some music.
