CYT Presents ‘The Sound of Music’ at Angelle Hall

One of my favorite movies of all time is coming to Angelle Hall this month, presented by Christian Youth Theater of Lafayette and accompanied by the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra. The Sound of Music will run from Thursday, October 20^th through Sunday, October 23^rd. Tickets are on sale now at www.cytlafayette.org and group rates are available.  The Sound of Music will feature a talented cast of elementary through high school aged aspiring thespians from the Acadiana area. While thinking about the wonderful songs the cast will perform in this production, I remembered 'Edlelweiss,' and found this beautiful version by John Denver and Julie Andrews.
