Church Point Drug Bust Nets 4 Suspsects, Cocaine, Meth, Weapons

Church Point police arrested four suspects on multiple charges over the weekend. KATC reports, a warrant was served at a Plaquemines street residence on Sunday.

Police arrested Shaninqua Wheeler, Lawrence Joseph Leday, Emily Ledet, and Eugene Wheeler. The suspects face various charges of possession with intent to distribute, including marijuana, cocaine, and crystal meth.

Weapons were found in the home, including a rifle with a high volume magazine. A small child was also present in the residence.
