CHER MAKES CHART HISTORY

How's this for an accomplishment. Cher is now the only artist in history to score a number one in each of the last six decades. This week, her latest single, "You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me," is at the top of Billboard's Dance/Club Play Songs chart. The song is from Cher's movie, "Burlesque," but this is a remix. Six decades! It started back in 1965 when Sonny & Cher's "I Got You Babe" went to number one. She had three number one singles as a solo artist in the 70's, including "Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves. In the 80's, Cher topped the Adult Contemporary chart on her own with "If I Could Turn Back Time," and in a duet with Chicago's Peter Cetera. In the 90's, it was all about her dance tunes, including "Believe," and at the start of the new century, Cher had them dancing again with two more chart-toppers.
