Catholic High-New Iberia and Gueydan both filled their vacant head coaching vacancies this week.

Catholic High-New Iberia tabbed former Archbishop Hannan head coach Scott Wattigny as their new coach, while former Church Point assistant Lance Myers was named at Gueydan.

Wattigny, who compiled an overall record of 39-17 over the last five season as head coach cat Archbishop Hannan, replaces former Panthers head coach Brent Indest, who retired in December.

Myers, who served as defensive coordinator at Church Point last season, replaces Rob Moy, who left Gueydan after three seasons to become the head coach at Abbeville.
