By now, everyone knows that Carrie Underwood has a baby on the way—and "everyone" includes her firstborn, Isaiah, who is 3 and a half and not quite sure about this new-baby business. In fact, he might be called even a tad bit jealous of the new addition, before he or she even arrives.

As Underwood tells People, Isaiah has everything already worked out in his head regarding the dynamics surrounding his new sibling. "[He] told me recently that when the new baby comes that Daddy could have that baby and then he could be mine,” the singer relates.

Well, even leaving out the fact that that's a bit of a diss to dad Mike Fisher, things just don't work that way! "His world is about to get rocked," Underwood admits.

However, it seems that Underwood and her son have a remarkable bond that might make it hard for both of them to adjust to sharing. "He loves me. He looks at me and talks to me and interacts with me like nobody else on this planet,” Underwood says of her firstborn. “He’ll stare at me and I’m like, ‘What are you looking at?’ And he’s like, ‘I just love you.’ What kid does that?”

She adds that maybe it would be a good thing if the new baby did gravitate toward Daddy. "Maybe this next one will be all Mike’s. Maybe that will be how it works out. Mike needs some love too. I feel bad for him sometimes.”

Underwood announced her second pregnancy in August. In an interview with CBS This Morning in September, she revealed that she suffered three miscarriages before getting pregnant for the second time.

Underwood is set to co-host the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley for the 11th time on Nov. 14. She is also slated to perform during the ceremony, where she is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.
