Breaux Bridge Police Trying to Identify Armed Robbery Suspect

The Breaux Bridge Police Department is hoping that someone will be able to identify a man from a surveillance video they believed robbed a store.

According to Breaux Bridge Assistant Chief Terry Latiolais, police were called out to El Amigo Mexican Store on the Grand Pointe Highway after a male suspect committed an Armed Robbery.

Latiolais says the suspect is described as being a heavy-set man. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt with a hoodie. On the front of that garment, there was an LSU emblem. The man was also wearing a black mask along with a black knit hat.

Officials say the man left, but they do not know what direction he was traveling in.
