Bradley Cooper Has Been Asked to Play Barry Gibb

The 'Bohemian Rhapsody' producer, Graham King, and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, along with Paramount are reportedly in the beginning stages of developing a biopic about the Bee Gees. According to The Daily Mail, Bradley Cooper has been asked to play Barry Gibb, Bee Gees vocalist, and guitarist. It’s reported that he is in informal discussions about taking the role. After his role in 'A Star Is Born', I have no doubt Cooper would be the perfect fit.

Barry Gibb is the eldest of the three brothers that make up the Bee Gees. He is also the only surviving member. On Friday, Cooper’s spokesperson said that he was "not in negotiations at the moment".

Reportedly, Anthony McCarten has been asked to write the script which has yet to be titled. He wrote the screenplay for Bohemian Rhapsody.

I am very excited about all of this and hope that it is indeed Bradley Cooper who will portray Barry Gibb. He would be perfect.
