Vermilionville, located near the Lafayette Airport on Surrey Street, is a step back into Cajun history and remains an anthem to culture that continues to salute family, hospitality and spicy food around the globe.  This October Vermilionville presents Boo Bayou Fall Festival, an old-time Halloween Celebration.

The Boo Bayou Fall Festival will take place at Vermilionville Living Museum and Folklife Park on Saturday, October 21 from 10AM to 3PM.  Admission is only $5 for ages 2 and older.

Last year over 1500 people visited Vermilionville for Boo Bayou Fall Festival which, like this year, had something for everyone.  Old-time games, face painting, animals, a coloring station and trick-or-treating throughout the grounds.  Children will be able to decorate their own trick-or-treat bags, Vermilionville will provide the bags and supplies.

You'll see Mitch the Magician, balloon animals by The Fun Company, and costuming is encouraged for adults and kids alike.
