The inaugural Bennett’s Bash Gala will be held Saturday, June 21st from 6-9 PM at the Victorian Plantation, 302 E. Main Street in Broussard. 100% of proceeds raised at the Gala will support the efforts of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. It's being held in honor of Bennett Thomas Coleman, a 21-month old Lafayette resident who was a recent cancer patient at St. Jude and who died in April. Bennett’s Bash will be a celebration of Bennett and the inspiration his life gave thousands of people around the world who followed his story.  The evening will feature food by local restaurants, live entertainment by Johnny Chauvin and the Mojo Band, and silent and live auction items including signed footballs by Tim Tebow, Coach Hudspeth, and a towel used by Drew Brees from his Super Bowl win, as well as hunting camp and trout fishing trips, a ride in Red Lerille’s Lamborghini, a pink gold cross necklace from Paul's Jewelry, summer activity packages, original local art pieces, and much more!
