Chick-Fil-A being offered in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium is just further proof that the Atlanta Falcons can't stop messing with their fans.

As if their infamous meltdown in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl wasn't enough to bring their fans to their knees, this move is enough to completely deflate them.

The fact that a Chick-Fil-A will be in the stadium isn't a shocker, seeing that their home offices are located in Atlanta—but being that the majority of the Falcons football games are played on Sundays means that their fans won't be enjoying any of that delicious breaded goodness.

It has been confirmed that there will be "no exception made to the normal Chick-Fil-A operating hours," which means they won't be open on Sundays—a rule that has been in place since the restaurant was founded by Truett Cathy in 1946.

If you've slammed your hand on your steering wheel on a Sunday wondering why Chick-Fil-A isn't open, look no further than their website.

Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose — a practice we uphold today

Do you know how much of a tease that is? Could you imagine if Cajun Field announced they would begin offering Billy's Boudin Balls, Judice Inn burgers, poboys from Olde Tyme Grocery and sno-balls from Cajun Sno—but not on Saturdays!

How do you think Ragin' Cajun football fans would feel about that?

As if the Who Dat Nation needed any more ammunition to poke fun at the Falcons, it turns out that Saints fans that plan on traveling to Atlanta for the Dec. 7 matchup are in Chick-Fi-Luck (that was terrible, lol) because that is the only Falcons home game where fans will be able to enjoy Chick-Fil-A.

Of course there will be numerous other events and concerts taking place in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium that don't fall on a Sunday, but for those who can't go without their chicken fix, former "Top Chef" contestant Kevin Gillepsie will be offering his COS chicken sandwich from a booth in the stadium.

By the way, COS = "Closed on Sunday."
