Atchafalaya Basin Bridge Repairs Continue Friday

Repairs on the Atchafalaya Basin bridge will resume this Friday. The road surface in St. Martin Parish needs extensive repairs. You may recall, it was damaged by a major fiery crash last August.

The work area will span from the Whiskey Bay exit to mile marker 125. Work was suspended last weekend (January 24 to January 27). The project resumes January 31. The right lane of I-10 westbound will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.
