Aquaman Swims to promising profits at the Box Office opening day

Have you got Superhero fatigue? It's quite a possibility with the plethora of new installments to popular superhero franchises throughout this year including Ant-man and the Wasp, Avengers: Infinity Wars, or everyone's favorite Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool 2.

And while this tiresome selection may have Ka-powed! Whacked! or Krakked! some people against the wall, a lot of America seems to think differently after DC's newest superhero release, Aquaman. And this shows after this weekend's box office performance.

According to Forbes, heart-throb Jason Mamoa as Aquaman reeled in a total of $32.7 million total thus far. This includes special previews as well as Thursday and Friday Premieres.

This number is only expected to increase over the holidays.
