7th Annual MDA Muscle Walk is Tomorrow

YOUR HEART!
Join the MDA Muscle Walk, tomorrow morning (Saturday, March 12th) at 9am, at Acadian Village. More than 300 walkers and people using wheelchairs and scooters will participate in the Seventh Annual Muscle Walk. The fun event is expected to raise more than $35,000 to help area residents with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle diseases served by the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
In conjunction with the 2011 Muscle Walk, MDA is hosting its 2nd Annual Chili Cookoff.
Event sponsors include Aaron’s Rental, WalMart, Treasure Bayou and Evangeline Homes. Special family activities for the event include lots of music, dancing, games and prizes, along with a fun jump, team photos, a poster station to make special team posters to cheer your team on, face painting and the Chick-Fil-A cow will be there with the prize wheel. Aaron’s Lucky Dog mascot will also be there as we bring a finish to the event with a huge balloon wish launch.
Registration begins at 9am. And just wait until you taste some of the chilis!!
