Country music was well-represented at Tuesday night's (Oct. 9) 2018 American Music Awards, with Kane BrownLuke BryanLuke CombsKelsea BalleriniMaren MorrisCarrie Underwood and Lanco all among the nominees.

Brown far and away led the country nominations, nailing down three nods in the Male Artist, Song and Album categories. Did he end up scoring big? Underwood was the first country winner of the night, snagging Favorite Female Artist for country. "You guys mean the world to all of us. Just thank you so much," she told fans upon accepting her trophy.

The American Music Awards honorees are tracked by Billboard, with winners based on total fan interaction, album and digital song sales, radio airplay, streaming, social activity and touring numbers in a specific period (Sept. 15, 2017 through Aug. 9, 2018 for the 2018 awards).

The 2018 AMAs were broadcast live on ABC from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater.
