1/1/11 Contest

A California high school teacher named Ron Gordon wants us to celebrate today with a fun contest.  He's declared today "Ones Upon a Day," and he's encouraging everyone to write a story or poem that starts out with that line.  The top 11 entries will win the grand prize of $11.11.  Ron is the same guy who created "Square Root Day," which is celebrated with the eating of root vegetables like radishes and rutabagas cut into cubes. Ha!  Entries for the story contest must be emailed to rgordon@seq.org.  All entries must be received within 111 hours of today.
