New research found that men who are forced to go on a diet by their spouse actually tend to gain weight.  The reason is, they may stick to their diet or eating plan when at home while around the house, but when away form home, they are more likely to cheat and binge on all their favorite guilty pleasures.

Men whose wives put them on diets tend to fail when they don’t discuss the matter beforehand.  Experts say that if you want to help your partner lose weight, it’s important to communicate about it openly first.
