Woman Accused Of Stealing Hundreds Of Thousands Of Dollars

The Officer Manager of a New Iberia business has been accused of theft charges.

According to a press release from the New Iberia Police Department, Linda Boutte is wanted on theft charges.

Detectives working the case allege that Boutte stole over $200,000 from the business.

Officials got involved in investigating the business documents of the company after the owner contacted them. Police believe she took the money over a period of time.
