It's no great revelation that Victoria Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice, never quite felt 100% comfortable in the Spice Girls. In fact, the pop group's former manager went so far as to confirm that fact back in April when speaking at an event in Los Angeles. But just how uncomfortable was the stylish star? So uncomfortable, it seems, that the powers that be used to turn her microphone off when the girls performed live concerts.

While speaking at the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition in London on May 5, Beckham revealed during an interview with Claudia Winkleman that "they used to turn [the microphone] off and just let the others sing." Fortunately, the pop-turned-fashion icon isn't holding a grudge, adding cheekily, "I got the last laugh... Now my mic is well and truly on, finally!"

And while the former Spice Girl may not have gotten props for her vocal performances — and by the way, Beckham can actually sing quite well, so make no qualms about that — she certainly earned her posh title, being considered the most chic in the group. And though she may have been made fun of for her penchant for a tasteful Gucci frock, once again, the last laugh was hers.

"I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap," Beckham quipped. "And so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress." Shady Spice, anyone?
