Use Pool Noodles During Hard Freeze on Your Vehicle

If you have the pool noodles around your house, you can put them to good use in the days ahead.

As south Louisiana prepares for below-freezing temperatures early next week, if you park your vehicle outdoors chances are it will freeze over in the days ahead.

So, what can you do to protect your windshield wipers from the freeze? Well, you can grab the pool noodles you aren't using right now and cut them to fit over the blades on your vehicle.

As seen in the photo below, the foam will act as a barrier between the blades and windshield, thus preventing them from freezing to the window.

I remind you, having Windshield "De-Icer" in your possession will be vital early next week. Take precautionary measures and save yourself a lot of time when it comes to getting into your vehicle on a frozen morning.
