Legendary zydeco musician Wayne Toups joined the Pride of Acadiana marching band to perform during halftime at the UL-App State game Wednesday night.

Wayne Toups will be performing with the Pride Of Acadiana at halftime during the App State-UL football game this Wednesday, October 12.

Here's some pretty cool news. Acadiana's own Hunter Hayes has been added to the lineup for the Acadiana Strong benefit concert on Sunday, September 4th at Evangeline Downs Event Center in Opelousas.

The money raised will be given to flood victims via the Community Foundation of Acadiana.

Admission is only $10 and the money raised will be distributed to local organizations helping in the recovery through the Community Foundation of Acadiana.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 4th at Evangeline Downs for the "Acadiana Strong" benefit concert. 100% of proceeds will go to flood victims.
