We at Townsquare Media are on the midst of a radiothon to help continue the life saving work at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. There are literally hundreds of active patients from Louisiana being treated by St. Jude...
The radiothon may be over, but you can still make a contribution to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We raised $147,385.00 in two days. When I say "We", that means the people of Acadiana.
I was informed shortly after arriving at work this morning, Townsquare Media, Lafayette has been challenged. A Townsquare station in Albany, New York says they're going to recruit more partners in hope than Townsquare, Lafayette. I DON'T Think SO!! ...
Helping St. Jude isn't about putting a face on cancer, but rather, seeing the faces of those who are bravely fighting for their young lives - the children of St. Jude.

My favorite photo of the day? Two kids, enjoying their chili. The best thing about the photo is the fact that their parents are teaching them, early, to give back to the community.

Markell Gregois is from New Iberia. He's a passionate Saints fan, who's been fighting cancer for five years now. He's had four bouts, that have entailed multiple surgeries, amputations, and excruciating chemotherapy. Markell has been a guest of the Fox NFL studio team. When Terry Bradshaw told him the Colts would beat the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, Markell set him straight. He is one of 750 kids from Louisiana being treated there. The average cost of treatment for one cancer patient is $500,000.
