President Donald Trump announced Saturday that he is nominating Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, as he aims to put a historic stamp on the high court just weeks before the election.

She was the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court, as well as a pioneer for women's rights.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died. She died on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the age of 87 due to complications from cancer.

RBG was 87-years-old.
