The letters were sent to parents of Lafayette High School students and students of Middlebrook Elementary.

The incident at Cpl. Middlebrook Elementary School in Lafayette remains under investigation.

The weather should be great for today's event! Gates open at 10; the event ends at 3pm.

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the school (for the purchase of walkie-talkies, a copier, and an ice machine).
