United Way of Acadiana has announced a food and supply drive that will kick off this Friday to gather supplies needed by the victims of Hurricane Ida.

There are multiple ways to donate for this situation.

The annual Election Day Food Drive is one of three major drives for FoodNet each year. Help if you can!

Last year, more than 8,000 pounds of fish & game were collected providing 26,00 meals to needy persons in Acadiana. Donations benefit the Opelousas Lighthouse Mission, and are tax deductible.

I love pranks.  Especially harmless pranks.  This man is brilliant (at being a prankster, at least).  He make a car seat costume (yes, you heard that right) and he pulls up to the drive through window, making it appear that the car is driving itself.

The Trail Lizards Jeep Club (based out of Bossier City) held it's annual "Go Topless With The Lizards" Jeep show at Landers Chrysler/ Dodge/Jeep/ Ram dealership today, bringing together jeep enthusiasts and jeep owners to help raise canned goods for the local food bank.  And Yours Truly was there!
