Recent changes in Louisiana laws regarding physical discipline have left many parents unsure of whether their kids can or can't be paddled at school.

The St. Landry Parish School Board voted unanimously to ban corporal punishment in schools across the Parish.

Currently, in the state of Louisiana, juveniles and prisoners cannot be struck by authorities but that's not the case for the state's K-12 students.
