There’s no other event in town quite like it.” Symphony in the Sky is ASO’s signature fall fundraising event to support its music education programs, including Symphony in the Schools and After School Strings – which aim to provide access to Symphonic concerts and after-school music lessons, free of charge, to Lafayette Parish School System students. ASO’s broader conservatory and music education components also offer high-quality learning opportunities for musicians of all ages to advance their talents and passions. ASO relies on the vital support of the community to continue its mission, and provide exceptional music experiences to Acadiana. Symphony in the Sky is presented by Service Chevrolet Cadillac, and sponsored in part by Home Bank (Skyline Stage Partner), Rudick Construction Group (Sun Setter Photo Booth Partner), The Gleason Group (Boozie Koozie Partner), The Better Living Group (Selfie in the Sky – Selfie Station Partner), and Madeleine Groth, DDS (Fanfare Partner). ASO’s mission is to bolster our cultural economy and uphold unparalleled civic value through the power and joy of music, by providing excellence in orchestral performances of diverse repertoire, and educational experiences to inspire and enrich our future generations, thus creating a vibrant community in which to live and work.
