St. Martinville Man Accused of Molesting Juvenile

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office

27-year-old Tyler Dauphinet of St. Martinville is in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center for allegedly sexually abusing a juvenile earlier this year.

Sheriff Becket Breaux announced in a press release that his office received a report of the crime on October 22. Investigators then determined Dauphinet guilty of the following charges:

  • 3 Counts-LA. R.S. 14:43-3rd Degree Rape-(Felony)
  • 2 Counts-LA. R.S. 14:81.2-Molestation of a Juvenile-(Felony)

Dauphinet was arrested on Thursday morning. Bond has not been set.
