As the sun comes up over Lafayette, we're seeing evidence of snowfall across the city. National Weather Service meteorologists said snow was possible as far south as Opelousas, but as the storm continued to shift, that snowfall made its way farther south.

John Douzat sent us these pictures from outside his home on the southeastern edge of the city. John tells us his cat, Rambo, isn't sure what to make of the white stuff on the ground.
