Lafayette Police say that they responded to a call about shots being fired near Moore Park Monday night as a vigil was being held in the park.

KLFY News reports that the family of Ja’Kyrie Clark was hosting a vigil and balloon release for the teenager where he was shot and killed in the park.

When police arrived at the park they did not find anyone injured, nor did they find any shell casings.

As of writing this story, no one has been arrested for the shooting in Moore Park that took the life of two young adults and injured two others.
