National clown sightings continue despite warnings from law enforcement that people wearing clown masks can be arrested.

KATC reports that a man was pulled over in Jennings after reports of a suspected 'creepy clown.' The man told police he was on his way to prank his sister. Since he wasn't wearing a mask, Jennings police let him go after a warning.

It is illegal to wear a mask outside of Halloween and Mardi Gras in the state of Louisiana. Two teens were arrested in Lafourche Parish for violating this law while sharing a clown mask. They face between 6 months to 3 years in prison if convicted.
