When Darius Hinkle realized his 1-year-old daughter was choking on a penny, his only thought was to get her to the hospital and fast. After driving over 100mph he made it but was immediately arrested. That's where a group of amazing nurses stepped in to help his daughter, and bail him out of jail.

Wdsu.com reports Hinkle along with the child's mother Donecia Pittman drove over 100mph and ignored the police lights and sirens as he sped to the hospital to get help for his choking daughter.

Hinkle from Centreville, Ill tells wdsu.com "The first thing in my mind was, get her to the hospital. That's my daughter. I'm not going to let anything happen to her."

Pittman says when they arrived at the hospital, they were told to "get out and put our hands up. And I got out, I put my hands up and I yelled and I told the police my baby is choking."

The father was arrested for a number of charges, including driving without a license.

The mother says when she arrived at the jail to try and bail Hinkle out she noticed a woman she didn't know who told police she was there to bail Hinkle out.

That woman was a nurse from Touchette hospital.

A group of nurses from the hospital all pitched in to bail Hinkle out.
