Early on in the pandemic, little was known about the antibodies and whether they would stay in the body long enough to support immunity. Well, now that we are getting to know the virus better, researchers are seeing more chance at immunity.

According to this story from the New York Times, scientists think that human immune cells beginning to store more information about COVID-19, which means that they may be able to fight off the virus in the future. This, coupled with the theory that anyone who had been infected might develop immunity, regardless of how serious their symptoms were, is quite promising.

Let's hope that the scientists and doctors working to find a cure, treatment, and vaccine are given all the tools they need to get the job done so that the world can get back to (as close to) normal, ASAP!
