Natchitoches Assistant Principal Accused Of Paddling Teacher As Punishment

An assistant principal at Frankie Ray Jackson Senior Technical Center in Natchitoches was arrested Monday amid accusations he paddled a teacher on her butt as a form of punishment.

Sixty-four-year-old Hugo Vogel was arrested at the school and charged with simple battery after the female teacher complained to a school resource officer in February about the incident.

A further investigation revealed Vogel spanked the teacher on the butt with a paddle.

Vogel has been released on bond, and the case remains under investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Natchitoches police.
