For the first time in a very long time, I'm making a real New Year's resolution. As a woman of 'a certain age,' I've decided it's time to accept the fact that I need to eat better. I don't plan to give up any foods or start a big diet plan. I am just going to stop and think for a second before I take the first bite and ask, "Is this a good nutritional choice?" My hope is that by training myself to stop and think before diving in, I will be able to choose foods that are healthier. And if I decide to indulge in something that's not a good choice, I'll choose to consume less of it than I have in the past. Sounds pretty simple... I hope. Wish me luck!
