
‘The Death of a Showgirl’ Needs to Be Solved at Murder Mystery Dinner
(99.9 KTDY) - It will be a night of entertainment and questions like, "Who Is Responsible" and "Did the Butler Do It" as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana presents a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre called, The Death of a Showgirl.
If you are one of the lucky people to snatch up tickets to this event, you will take a trip back in time for that night, as the setting for The Death of a Showgirl is a century ago.

You'll be able to step back in time with an event set during a time when jazz clubs were all the rage, and the champagne flowed. The Death of a Showgirl will feature plenty of intrigue with secrets that are just below the surface during a time of gangsters and Flapper girls. Get ready for people dressed up in fringe and feathers, while you can tell that danger simmers somewhere under the surface.
Participants will be treated to an engaging night of fun, and they will have to determine who the murderer is among those gathered at the event. The night is always full of fun, food, and laughs.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Acadiana will be the beneficiary of proceeds from this fun event. "Acadiana Bigs," as it's commonly called, is a youth mentoring program that pairs a child with an adult. The program will pair a child up with an adult role model for a mentoring friendship.
According to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Acadiana, the program,
These mentoring relationships provide Littles with the tools they will need to overcome the adversities they face and develop the characteristics they need for academic, social, and economic success.
The event will be held on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, at the Acadiana Center for the Arts, and doors to the ACA will open at 6 p.m. each night.
