Maurice Man Arrested For Murder Solicitation

A Maurice man is in prison tonight after officers discovered his involvement in a plot to have his wife killed.

Master Trooper Brooks David reported 45-year-old Harlow Hutchinson was arrested today after detectives received reports of the murder solicitation.

David did not say how detectives learned of the murder solicitation, or if they discovered Hutchinson's motives.

Louisiana State Police worked together with the Abbeville Police Department to obtain an arrest warrant from the 15th Judicial District Court. Hutchinson was arrested by Abbeville Police during a traffic stop. He was then transported to the parish jail for booking.
