Magic Mike Not So Magical

I saw 'Magic Mike' yesterday and I don't really know what to say about it, except that the whole thing just seemed a little much, y'know? I thought it was going to be a story about a young guy who falls into a dubious profession but ultimately gets back on the right track, with a few scenes of his colorful occupation, a twist and turn or two and some foolishness thrown in for giggles. It wasn't. It was full-on, in your face, close-up body parts- male and female. Over and over again. I heard some hoots and hollers and quite a bit of laughter in the theater at first, but that faded. I think a lot of the audience (we saw one man in the whole theater, the rest were women of all ages) got a little tired of it, too. I know I'm old-fashioned, but I'm curious… am I the only one who didn't love it?
