Lost Bird Alert : Guess Maverick Felt the ‘Need for Speed’

I was perusing the facebook page Lost and Found Pets Acadiana this morning and spotted an alert about a lost bird. The page is normally filled with dogs and cats, but this post really flew out at me. The man who's looking for the bird is John Raxsdale, so I clicked over to his page and found a trail of sightings in the Milton/Youngsville area.  The macaw has been spotted at the Route 92 roundabout heading down Verot towards Abbeville, at the corner of La Neuville and Bonin recently, but still hasn't been captured;  he's been loose since May 2. If you see him, you can contact John on facebook. By the way, the bird's name is Maverick. Guess he felt "the need for speed." (I'm sorry, but it had to be said.)

UPDATE: Maverick has been found in Youngsville!
