Here's a local guy that you won't find playing DTA or Rhythms, but is SO very talented!

His name is Scott Suire, and he used to work for us here at Townsquare Media.  He's moved on to bigger and better (paying!!) things now, and we've just discovered his singing and songwriting abilities.

He posted a video to his Facebook page a few days ago, and had this to say:

I want this song to bring awareness to all types of self-esteem issues. Words are weapons. You never know exactly what someone is going through because not all people wear their heart on their sleeve. This goes for people in bad relationships, those who aren't happy in their own skin, people in the LGBT community, or any victim of verbal/mental/emotional abuse. - Scott Suire

As beautiful as this song is, it is also tragic, as it deals with a topic that doesn't get talked about nearly enough: suicide.

1-800-273-TALK.  If you are needing someone to talk to about issues you are having, the National Suicide Prevention Hotline is active 24/7, and they even have an online chat option.  There is hope, and there are people who can help you find that hope.
