LDH: July 26th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Sunday, July 26th.
There have been 107,574 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. There are 3,840 more reported cases since Friday.
Numbers show that there are 1,557 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's down 43 since Friday.
184 patients are on ventilators across the state. That's 13 fewer than were reported on Friday.
The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 3,651 That is 48 more reported deaths since Friday.
As of today, 61,456 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 8,168 more recovered patients since last week.
The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 16,199 with 358 total deaths reported.
Lafayette Parish: 5769 total cases, 75 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2003 total cases, 57 total deaths

St. Martin Parish: 1,358 1399 total cases, 36 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1287 total cases, 43 total deaths
