Numbers show that there are 1,226 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's 30 more hospitalizations since yesterday.

184 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 5 fewer yesterday.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,403. That is 19 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 103,512 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 3rd. That's 14,429 presumed recovered patients since the last report released.

The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 22,388 with 524 total deaths reported.
