Lafayette’s Best Martini Competition Returns for Healing House
(Lafayette, LA) - It's the time of year again when eight local restaurants will feature signature cocktails for multiple weeks as part of a fundraiser for Healing House, Hope for Grieving Children.
The Martinis 2026 Lafayette Best Martini Competition and Tito's Tini Tuesday Tour kicks off this first Tini Tuesday on Tuesday, June 16.
How Healing House Helps Families Who Are Grieving
Healing House is a place for children who are grieving to receive help and who are surrounded by other children who have also experienced a major trauma, such as losing a family member.
Healing House offers programs at its facilities and at schools in two local parishes. This organization offers refuge for children who are experiencing a seriously impactful event in their lives, such as the loss of a loved one.
Details of Tini Tuesdays
Each week from Tuesday, June 16th through Saturday, August 8, one local participating restaurant will be highlighted for their signature crafted cocktail. On the Tuesday of each of the eight weeks, one restaurant will be featured during a "Tini Tuesday".
When you visit that restaurant during their "Tini" week, you can purchase the signature cocktail for only $4 with the purchase of an entree. The $4 will be donated to Healing House.
The best part? The eight restaurants are competing in this year's competition, and each Tuesday, one restaurant will be featured. The best part is that you can go to any of the restaurants right now to taste their signature martini.
There is also a competition between the restaurants for the best martini, and each time you give a dollar to that restaurant, it counts as a vote. You can even visit the Healing House website to donate!

The Tini Tour is a fun event for the summer in Lafayette, and it provides money to support the many programs offered at Healing House, including the following:

- Coping Kits
- Grief Response Team
- Resources
- Professional Workshops and Training
One of the most beautiful parts of Martinis 2026 is the hand-painted martini glasses.
This year, artist Hannah Gumbo created a beautiful design for the signature martini glass. It's a massive array of colors featuring a flower, stars, dots, and so much more. Check this out:
