Jim Marshall, ‘Lord Of The Loud’ Passes Away @ 88

You may not know the name Jim Marshall, but if you listen to Rock 'n Roll music, you've heard the results of his work. If you've ever attended a concert, you've most likely seen his products on the stage.

He founded Marshall Amplification in 1962, the manufacturers of the legendary line of Marshall Amplifiers.  Jim Marshall passed away yesterday at the age of 88. His long list of distinguished clients includes Pete Townshend of The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Les Paul, Eric Clapton, Slash
