Louisiana Man Arrested for Luring Minor with Chicken Nuggets
Two Louisiana men have been arrested for sex crimes involving minors.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, the first suspect, Preston Murray, 37, of Breaux Bridge, was taken into custody on December 10. He faces charges of indecent behavior with juveniles, computer-aided solicitation of a minor, and attempted carnal knowledge of a juvenile, in addition to drug-related charges. Murray was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.
Additionally, a Baton Rouge Man, Joshua Collie, 46, was arrested on December 13.
WBRZ reported that Collie, a fast-food restaurant manager, is accused of engaging in explicit conversations over several days with someone he believed to be a minor. Authorities say he allegedly lured the victim to his home with the promise of chicken nuggets. Collie is charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with juveniles.
It was not disclosed what fast food chain Collie was employed with during these conversations.
Every Louisiana parent warns their kids, "Don’t take candy from strangers," but using chicken nuggets to lure a child? That’s a new one.
