When the game draws again on Tuesday evening the estimated jackpot will be $681 million for the annuitized amount. A lump sum payout would equate to $336.1 million. Louisiana Lottery Confirms Powerball Results, Reveals Big-Money Winner

The other mult-state lottery game that is played in Louisiana is Powerball. That game holds drawings on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night. Last night Powerball held a drawing for a top prize of $72.1 million. Here is how that drawing played out.

Our sources at Powerball did confirm to us that no ticket sold across the game's footprint matched the numbers needed to claim the jackpot prize. That money will now increase for Monday's Powerball drawing. It is estimated that by the time ticket sales cease on Monday evening the jackpot amount will be approximately $80 million. That is the annuitized jackpot amount. The lump sum payout would be $39.5 million.

Powerball game officials did confirm a Match 5 Million ticket was sold in California. We have also learned through our sources at the Louisiana Lottery in Baton Rouge that a ticket sold in Louisiana was a $50,000 winner.

Louisiana Easy 5 Ticket Wins $180,000 Saturday Night

Saturday's Easy 5 game from the Louisiana Lottery actually produced a bigger win than the Powerball game did. The jackpot in Easy 5 was $180,000. Saturday night a ticket sold in Shreveport matched all five numbers in the Easy 5 drawing to lay claim to that game's top prize.
